This is a plaintext version of Ulrich Apel's
Wadoku Jiten in UTF8 encoding (version: March 16, 2003, approx. 205,000 entries), ready for use with Babbletower.
The Zip file contains the dictionary file and a .dictionary setup file. You need to
create an index file before using this dictionary.

Vocabulary Flash Cards
Japanese Language Proficiency Test
Following two sets of flash cards with vocabulary for all four levels of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
These files were compiled based on Thierry Bezecourt's vocabulary
lists. Since these flash card sets are machine-generated and not proof read, there's no guarantee for correctness
or completeness...
- with German translations retrieved from
Wadoku Jiten.
- with English translations retrieved from
edict.
Jouyou Kanji
English (based on kanjidic)
Another two sets containing the Jouyou Kanji. These flash cards were compiled based on
Jim Breen's kanjidic
(version 14AUG2004). These files were also machine generated and not proof read, so no guarantee
for correctness or completeness.
German (based on kanjidic_de)
And yet another two sets containing the Jouyou Kanji. Basically same as above, but
these were compiled based on kanjidic_de (version 14AUG2004), also from the
Monash site. Again, the files were machine generated and not proof read, so no
guarantee for correctness or completeness.
